GRANTS IN ACTION
In early 2024, the Marshfield Education Foundation (MEF) partnered with Marshfield Community Media to film a series of short videos highlighting MEF grants in action throughout the Marshfield Public School District. The grants MEF funds profoundly impact students, and you can hear it shine through their voices. The first two videos in the series highlight a 2023 Ukulele grant at Daniel Webster School and two grants currently in use at Governor Winslow School: A Spot on Excellence focusing on social and emotional learning, and the Adventure PE grant with a focus on the rock wall. The next video highlights how an anatomage table is bringing Mrs. Pitts Science class to new depths. And then at Furnace Brook, an adaptive physical education program is making a difference in some students lives.

“The students use it every day at recess to create, relax, read, converse, write and play,” says Wendy Hermance...
